M3 Touring

1) Coming to US?
2) Is there room for this and an X3M?
3) If it’s priced like Benz prices their wagons it’s going to be ridiculously expensive

Still, sign me up if it comes to the US.

I asked that question of the current BMWUSA M product manager.
He said unfortunately not. Can't happen since the regularly 3 series touring isn't brought to the US.

That’s what I thought. I’m sure BMW figures an SUV will be more profitable than a 3 series wagon so they’re not bothering with any wagon here, let alone an M.

I wish BMW would think like Audi and have the M3 Touring roll out and debut like an RS6

3) If it’s priced like Benz prices their wagons it’s going to be ridiculously expensive. I was in the market once to get a C43 AMG Wagon but for 75k USD compared to price of the X3M, I ended up with the X3MC and by far is a much better car.

Still, sign me up if it comes to the US.

We can hope. They spent the money to bring the manual over on the M3 and there can’t be too many of those sold to make it worthwhile

If only because I picked up an X3MC a week ago, BMWNA will bring the M3 touring over, just to spite me.

You're not the only one…a very small percentage of enthusiasts claim to love them, but even 1 out of 10 of that group will buy one. The market just isn't there in the US.

Live in the UK and would LOVE one of these motors, but its going to be the best part of £85k to £90k by the time you add the "must have" options. A lot of cash with no discounts....doubt I'll be in one...sadly

surely they wont sell at that price? I recently tested an RS4 and it came out at £75k ish. I reckon that the M3Touring will be achievable at that price after 6months or so.

Still a LOT of money!

Think i would sell the X3M and the Yaris to get in one.....time will tell though.

A M3 starts at £76k and with just a couple of normal options people get costs about £80k. I agree with that statement that the wagon is going to cost more than the sedan and coupe. Which means it's going to run probably at least 83-87k with options. Do you feel your market over there is good enough to get a 8-10k discount on a M product in the next 6 months?

Also, if they share an allocation pool with the regular M3 then I'm not sure why anyone would give you a discount when they can just find a buyer for a sedan at MSRP.

I specced up an M3 yesterday and it came in at 87k lol. I mean, go big or go home!!!!!! To be fair, that had the ultimate pack at like £12k. I think its a stunning looking car, from what i can see.

There wont be ANY discount to be had here as long as there's a chip shortage. I ordered my X3M through John Clark here and got received a hefty discount, you look at their "deals" now and most have either been pulled or nowhere near the levels of discount say 18 months ago...like nowhere near.

I was interested in PXing the X3M for a fully laoded 440i for better fuel economy given i use the car a lot for work. I rang Eastern BMW and they said all offers on their website were being pulled. More demand than supply here, like everywhere i suppose, so why offer such great discounts?

I, personally, would have much preferred a wagon and would gladly have leased a wagon M40i rather than my X3 - even at a reasonable premium over X3 pricing.

However, you point remains - the market in the US just isn't there. They stopped selling 3 series wagons here for a reason.

I'd love to see an M3 touring over here but it seems doubtful.

I once had an m66 6mt v70r and loved the appeal of the "fast" wagon.

I barely specced my incoming X4M and it's £91k list. That's crazy.

Thankfully I got £20k off or it would have been a no deal!!
