Sorry to hear. Hopefully it can be fixed quickly and will look as new.

On a side note, how much was this individual color? Looks gorgeous.

its like turn into a side street where costco gas station usually starts a jam to turn into. the right lane is usually slower than the middle and left lane. The left lane is like a runway for the ramp to go onto the highway. The guy probably didn't use 100% braking technic and just rammed me into the back. They were nice about it. It sucks but its just insurance game now.

They are at fault 100%? Hopefully their insurance covers the whole damage. Is the exhaust damaged as well?

Does the color formulation have to come from bmw directly for the respray? Ughh I don't think I would've handled it as calmly as you. Lol

Carbon fiber on the exhaust tips has a small scratch, the exhaust tips got moved upwards a little. when I take it into the shop, I will ask them to thoroughly examine it. The other person is 100% at fault. I was stopped waiting to turn. I won't know how long it will take to fix everything but man, I love how the car drives. The car does not bullshit around. I can't wait to show my friends and family coming for thanksgiving the smashed in trunk. lol

If it's Queen City auto rebuild, I definitely recommend them.

Man that really sucks - where was this? Are you in Issaquah or something, I thought by profile that you were in Miami. [edit] nm, I saw the palm trees haha.

If you are in the Seattle area, Mcleod Autobody was great for me. They are very diligent in my two times working with them.

It's a car... It did the job to absorb the impact so you can walk away injury free. Sucks that it happened but hey shit happens we don't drive in bubbles.

Replacing and or fixing it is the easy part.

I'm going to just take it to Lauderdale collision center, my service advisor recommended it and I've had a friend's M4 repaired here a few years ago and it was good. I was going to drive this baby across the country to Seattle after the new year. Will post pics again when its done...hopefully some nice pictures..

I have a new X5 with that got in an accident as well.

Expected wait time to receive verification for the supplemental from the insurance co (GEICO) is 2 weeks. And another 2 weeks of work IF all parts are available at that time. At least a month on the shop 🤦*♂️

Tell them what color you want when you place your order. Price is $4500 for individual colors.

Go here, put in your model and click on special paints to see what you can order:
