Kinda surprised I got an X4M Comp. Was undecided if I should go M3 with xdrive or X4M. Loved the SPY color but didn't really feel it on the M3/M4. Was also undecided with interior color. My SA surprised me by ordering the build with a SPY exterior. Looked amazing, so of course I took it lol.

My CA said they were expecting them to be released this week for end of year/early 2022 build dates, but hadn't gotten anything as of this afternoon.

Luckily I'm the only one waiting on an F97/8 at this dealer, but I can't help but wonder how the component supply constraints are affecting future build allocations, even for sold orders.

I ordered an X3 M Competition on 9/14. My dealer said at that time that all of their October allocations were gone and I 'should' get a November allocation with delivery some time in December.

I have an order in the bank as well and no confirmation of an allocation yet. Was told November allocations would be next week but taking that with a grain of salt.

Hoping to have some sort of confirmation by the end of next week.

December allocations in ~ 2 weeks.

I got updated from my order from july 5th that I should be able to take delivery on Nov. 9th for my malachite green. So anyone going to PCD that day hit me up!

Sigh… still waiting. My car has been in Renton since last Friday waiting for a 10 minute semi truck drive to Seattle. Super frustrating but the dealer has been helpful, just a hurry up and wait situation. Garage is all ready for its new addition.

still waiting for mine :-( dealer decided to trade one away to delight another customer. i guess buying 8+ cars and 1-2 referral sales in the last 2-3 years doesnt count for much.

That depend what you mean by build.

Mine took 9 days to build (from Production Code 150 to 155). I was lucky to take over a dealership spot 4 days before their build was locked (111) and it when into production 3 days later. As of today the delivery phase account for more than 50% of the time of the whole process. I'm hopping it will be before the end of the month.

17 Sep: Order from Dealership
18 Sep: Dealership Allocation updated to my order
21 Sep: 111 - Order Accepted AG
22 Sep: 112 - Order Scheduled for Production
24 Sep: 150 - Production Started
02 Oct: 155 - Production Completed
06 Oct: In Transit (Boat => Rail => Truck, no ETA yet)

While my CA had confirmed it, Thursday night I downloaded the Build Sheet and nothing is missing from the order which included the HUD, ADAP, Sirius, H/K, Cockpit Pro, Shadow Line Trim, Towing Pkg and a bunch of smaller options. The only things listed as "delete" were the Digital Key and Passenger Seat Lumbar/Width Adjustment which I knew when I ordered.
