Hey X3M and X4M peeps,

Does anyone have any logs they can share of their car with or without tune? I know a lot of people have a tune but don't see anyone sharing logs...

0-100 or 3rd gear rolling appreciated!

Just want to study them and see whats going on with the car

Actually due to CV19 I literally put 30 miles a week now on my car as opposed to 300... but I just go about 100+ everywhere due to lack of traffic

Those are mine. Pure stock using DashCmd. The second sheet shows why the newbs like CarWow do not know how to use Launch Control. Big difference between launching at 2psi vs 10psi.

Thanks! Odd blips at 6400 rpm with boost/timing.... wonder why.

Timing is really high for a stock motor, now I see why adding some boost really wakes this M up 👍🏼

Thanks, it appears boost is up quite a bit vs. timing only going down a little, makes sense if you want to make that power !!!

I wouldn't put it in manual either way, just slows you down vs. the computer shifting.

RS @ 5k revs 15 degrees. 6k revs 25 degrees
X3m @5k revs 7 degrees. 6k revs 10 degrees

Eh, hard to compare two completely different engines like that.

7k revs X3M is 19*, whats the RS @ 7K?

Power drops off over 6k revs to red line. Looking at boost and timing I can see why. Powerful but very safe map.

Looking at waste gate duty cycle the turbo has loads more in it. I reckon it can do easy 27 psi right to the red line. Loads more to come on this engine. Only problem is the map editor software is very difficult to figure out. Will be a while yet before I can make my own.

Is that the log from BM3? Do you have to leave your laptop plugged in to get them? Or did you throw down on their obd adapter that works with cell phones?

Yes, you need to leave the laptop plugged in and either do it in offline mode or hot spot the laptop. Once you are on the “graph” screen you need to double click to start the run and then after you let off it’s stops the log.

Need to figure out why my log and M5TT logs are so different (prob dif version of tune)

I use the WiFi Agent so i never worry about carrying a laptop. Although I always have one just incase i want to look at graphs/logs etc.

I saw your log . I'm not an expert on this matter but there are some Knock Detected on your log
I loaded Stage 1 93 ( I use only 100 OCT petrol ) , but after testing the log I saw some Knocking .
I contacted BM3 sendin some Log , and they suggested that I upload Stage 1 91

Correct, knock detected but DME is doing its job and reducing timing. Knock is the norm with a lot of stock logs from what I see unless you are running super super good gas.

Your 91 log looks pretty good with nice timing and your 93 log looks a tad better with timing, I think you can get away with 93 log, your DME will pull back timing if it can't go any higher.
