Every time I read threads like this I wonder what percentage of owners have the capability to do this sort of thing or if I'm the only guy still in the dark ages. In your list of "what you need" I understood "power supply." The rest might as well be in Swahili. I envy you guys who speak this language.

You can also buy a "virginized" cluster which means most of this stuff (minus coding equipment) is not necessary.

Super glad he put everything in one guide though. Will probably buy a virginized cluster eventually and do this.

Well if you don't mind no CBS data and few error code in ISTA you don't have to virginize it.

Hi

I did this retrofit last year and one more thing that i needed to change was the baureihe to F15, to look more appropiate to my F25.
Default, it has a sedan picture when you open the doors or CBS is coming up.

setting: DKOMBI->3003->br_kennung-> F15(werte9). for me did not work F25 setting.

hummm, I'll give this a try when I have time but tbh I don't really mind the sedan look.

the open door logo (F10, F15) depends on what FA you used for Vo code, if you want a F15 logo (suv look for f25) you should use a F15 FA.

OP mysteriously removed the guide. Useless.

More relating to what you said... How can you use an F15 FA to VO Code on an F25? Can you just write any FA/FP to the car and it will accept it?

To give a little more context I am attempting to enable the HO-WORT "SBRE" from the F15, and then VO Code my DSC module following this guide: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1590542

With the F25 FA the FP calculation fails with SBRE added.

I think Williwi noticed there was a mistake for eeprom position and will be updated soon.

“More relating to what you said... How can you use an F15 FA to VO Code on an F25? Can you just write any FA/FP to the car and it will accept it?”
In esys settings : uncheck “update vcm after tal execution” to avoid the Fake FA be written to car.
1)Use F15 FA ( using your vin number)
2) inject cafdfile to kombi high
3)Vo code kombi only using the F15 FA
4) at this step you have the parameters for F15. You need fdl coding for tank capacity to 66 liters and using search change all the parameters “F15” for F25.

Do not write FA to car there will be error. Only use it to inject cafd file and vo code.
