Considering a x3 xdrive35i

What's up guys I have a 2010 335 all wheel drive right now, but I am looking to get something a little bit bigger due to my commute to work and for practicality. I like my speed so I'm considering getting the n55 engine l,

how quick does it feel compared to the 335 I'm probably going to tune it in other mods so that I get the most out of it

Did anybody else come from a 335 to this transition and if so how do you like it?

I came from a e92 N54 335 I had JB4,DP, intake and the car was a rocket for sure , now with the X3 35i , handling is way different but overall I am ok as it can tow a lot better than the e92. These are totally apples and oranges. I am doing some mods to the X3 to keep it as fun as I can but overall I think it is one of the best performance suv's you can get for the money for the fun factor.

I went from a E90 doing track days on Sebring to X3 28i x-drive for better towing my jet ski on slick/dirt ramps and to haul my camping gear. Spending time outdoors with friends and family is way more fun to me.

Def not going to do track days in a X3 on stock suspension that's for sure. Not going to stop anytime soon on stock brakes either, but they're fine for daily scooting. I'm only at 40k miles so still on stock brake pads, when they wear out I'll put some HPS 5.0 in there to fix.

Speed wise? Running 14's stock isn't anything to brag about, but for a SUV it's fast. Toss on a JB4 on either engine and it'll run 13s which is faster than 90% of the cars on the road and might even win ya some grudge races on test and tune night.

x3 is probably a bit more practical. considering your opting for the N55 35i variant x3. its basically a taller or 335i in sav form. around 500-700 lbs more weight. the x3 factory brakes will make you miss the 335i brakes.
