Hadn't seen any other members who were slotted for a 2024 Week 17 build, so I'm starting a thread for it!

Found a dealer with an allocation for Week 17 and put my deposit down for a MY24 X3 M40i. I'll be taking Performance Center Delivery tentatively on 5/21.

Is anybody else slotted for Week 17? The F5 key will be sticking from refreshing MyBMW...currently in status 112 - Scheduled for production.

I think I’m there with ya. Shows “In Production”, dealer says should be complete by 4/17. Then on a train to Cali.

Big day - moved to status 150 - Production Begins! BMW Genius shared yesterday that I am still a Week 17 build, but based on the F12 method, it appears I'm now Week 18 (prod date of 5/1).

Can't wait to see it fly through the steps!

Congrats, that's a nice build and I'm sure it will be beautiful. Just out of curiosity, how long does adding Tanzanite add to the delivery time? I ordered my car around Thanksgiving of 2018 and it arrived a couple of days before Christmas. But that was a standard color and I'm not certain what all the available future colors will be. At some point I expect I will eventually order a G45 but if I were ordering a 2024, I'd definitely go with Tanzanite.

I ordered mine on 3/25 from MAG BMW who had a week 17 allocation. Given it looks like I’m going to be week 18, it probably only added 1 week. Prod date of 5/1 and PCD of 5/21.

Tanzanite seems like a “semi-individual” color vs the more premium $5.5k colors that add prod time.

PS, looks like you’re a Bengals fan. Who Dey, and thank god for an easier strength of schedule this year (wife and I are season ticket holders).

Today mine went from “Production Begins” (Step 3) all the way to “Dispatched from Factory” (Step 12) literally overnight. Not sure how accurate that app is, but it looks like the car was born.

Wondering how long it takes to get to delivery in So Cal, I think I remember reading it was 9 days on a train to the port (assuming Port Hueneme(?), but not sure what happens to get it to the dealer.

My timeline is below:
- 04/01 Dispatched from factory
- 04/07 Arrived at Kansas City Hub
- 04/07 Departed Kansas City Hub
- 04/16 Arrived in San Bernardino Hub (will change to "At Port" in BMW Tracker)

I'm expecting the car to be delivered to the dealer by next week (but hoping for this weekend).

Who Dey!! I'm a season ticket holder as well! A good friend and I live just outside DC and fly back for 3 or 4 games a year and then sell a couple. Anyway, I'm ready for training camp...

prod date was updated and pulled forward to 4/29! Makes no difference given I have to wait for PCD, but it's exciting nonetheless.
