I think the presentation/projection onto the vehicle stuff is done by a third-party and not necessarily exclusive to BMW.

Here's the same kind of video for the Porsche Macan, and it's much worse, especially with the dancers (what were they thinking!?):

If the X4 show was a bit over the top, the Macan show is a disaster.

Ferry Porsche will rotate in his grave and Ferdinand Piech will scream for blood.

The X4 is a missed opportunity.

I am on board with the concept and I think the X6 is one of the most badass looking vehicles on the road.

The X4 doesn't look badass. It looks weak. Hips are too narrow, stance looks too tall for how wide it is. (Isn't)

The car isn't a mini-X6 as much as a sculpted X3, and the X3 has all the same issues when placed next to an X5.

Fail. And I had high hopes.
