New member, new X3 M40i

Just picked up my new M40i today. Traded in a 2015 S550 4Matic. It’s a big change but I can’t stop grinning. I absolutely love it. Test drive one a couple weeks ago and decided to make the change. Dealer here didn’t have one with options I wanted so I was going to order one. I then get a phone call that there was an order constraint due to lack of SensaTec material for the dash and also the driving asst packages. I love to search for things so I started searching dealers inventory and found the one I wanted in Highlands Ranch, Co. My dealer did the dealer trade and it arrived Saturday.

I really like the Carbon Black. I’ve had 3 straight Iridium Silvers on my S classes.
Just a little nervous about keeping it maintained. Thinking I will probably do the clear bra on the front as well as ceramic coating it.
In regards to the luxury of the S class vs the M40 it’s not really close but that’s ok. It’s a different time in my life, no young children to tote around and I wanted something fun to drive again. The S class was wonderful, especially the ‘15, as a cruiser on vacations and interstate travel but was somewhat lacking in driver engagement. In a perfect world the S and the M40i would be parked in the same garage with a 911 but I ain’t rolling that deep 😊

Take a screen shot of the pics by pressing lock an home button. Then you can crop those and post.

And importantly, maximum 1500x1200 I think. Scroll down in the attachment window and it lists all the limits.

Fairly close to my build including the color. I think the only difference is that I have the 21s and no spare.

I recommend downloading the app. It makes adding pictures with the phone super easy.
