i was bought out of my lease, 19 X3 w/msport with fewer options.

yeah that seems low, what was the breakdown? taxes up front, how much off MSRP? I got a 2019 x3 12% off and i paid more with taxes+fees upfront.

Was the $7k equity from each X3 or both? Your current low lease payment sounds like at least $7k applied to each of the new leases.

I normally put as little down as possible on a lease.

That’s a lot of downpayment! If you turn in your current cars 1 year early again, that’s $2333 (each car) you’ll never see again (assuming a standard 3 year lease)!

it worked out that way because of the market, high demand on used vehicles.
Our cars were mint. Mine had very low miles, my wife had more miles , close to the limit allowed.

its insane what payments are now for X1,X3 and X4.

I'm a fan of no money down on leases, will pay taxes and fees up front if anything.

Was quoted $950/mo from a lease broker in NYC for $0 down, taxes rolled in monthly - ~$65k MSRP before 4.25% discount

Feels super steep. I assume the X3 M40i is still the most bang for its buck in its class if all of the other automakers have raised their prices commensurately

Still feels bad.

Math is math once the variables have been negotiated...have you verified payment using leasehackr calculator or similar? It is maybe the worst time ever to lease any vehicle.

I mean obviously, with higher interest the money factor goes up, nothing we can do about that other than put msd's down but I digress. The main thing is to focus on the discount off MSRP, 4.5% is pretty decent for these times. Pre-covid you could probably scoop 10% and a lower money factory 2-3% but those times are gone, everything else is up too so it's not like you can compare. what are your other options?

Unfortunately the current lease program (low residual, no incentives) plus small discount off msrp is making leasing no longer attractive.
Rule of thumb is to have monthly lease pmt be about 1% of msrp to be good deal.

My lease is coming up next month and I definitely don’t feel X3 is worth $1,000 / month payment. I’m extending for now and hopefully pricing loosens up in next 90 days.

I'm trying to order m40i, MF supposedly .00180 with a residual 56% @ 36/10k, $3k off plus $1k lease cash and $1500 loyalty

Hopefully payments under $900 using Multiple security deposits

I'll shop around, looking for delivery at the SC performance center so the bmw store that I'm ordering from matters less

1 question, does the specific regional incentives Rates matter where the dealer is or the owner (garaged address) ?!? or it's nationwide
