Hey guys. Installing the All Seasons Michelin this friday with the 265/40 and 295/35. I have always ran the PSI true to what the door sticker says and on cold and I never had issues. My summer and also winter tires seem to be wearing evenly. Questions: 1. What PSI do you run with these sizes? 2. Do I need to redo an alignment since I am going to be running different sizes?

No need for realignment unless you are messing with suspension. |

Swapped by Snow Tires and got my Michelin PS All Season installed today.(265/40/21 & 295/35/21) They look amazing. I did the Tire Pressure PSI per sticker of 33 front and 38 back but screen is saying I have low tire pressure. I did change in the screen to the Summer tire with 265/40/21 Setting. I had it in Winter Tire setting before. Do I need to change it to the Race setting?

Bought the Michelin PS4 SUV 265/40 + 295/35 R21. And now I feel "kicks" after release gas pedal near 1000-1100rpm If I switch the car from 4WD to 2WD mode - car drives very smooth without any issues.
Stock size 255/40 + 265/40 means that rear tire 1% longer, but current setup means that rear tire 1% shorter, so we have 2% difference compared to stock ones. |

Even when I switched my stock wheels from the PS4S in the stock sizes to the AS4s in the exact same sizes (and running same tire pressures), I remember noticing that the ride quality decreased by a noticeable amount. Since you have winter rubber already, I'd say go with the true summer rubber PS4S. If you want the nice "Premium Touch" velvety sidewall graphics, you need to go with the 255/40/21 front tire and then the 295/35/21 rear. The 265/40/21 has the older sidewall graphics (at least last I checked) so they don't match perfectly. Plus, the 255/40/21 is an even closer diameter match than the 265/40/21 front, so even less chance of developing transfer case issues down the road. The 265/40/21 is still within the 1% diameter difference so it should be safe too, but the different look of the sidewall does bother me at times. Hope this helps Edit: Crap, I see that you already bought and installed the All Seasons. Well, they are still really good tires |

Well due to my car being rear ended I get numerous malfunctions and one of them puts me in 2WD mode. I can remove the traction control and get squirrely with it now lol My car goes into the shop soon for it to be fixed.

1. I have jerk/kick after the gas pedal release only on 1st gear near 1000-1100rpm 2. Today I changed a wheels to same sized 245/40 + 245/40 (just for test) = no issues. |

Switched!
I just happened to still have my Macan's old 21" Pirelli tire set (265/295) so I switched out my stock tires with them. The fronts fit nicely, but I feel like there is a lot of extra lip (where the tire meets the rim) on the rear. At least compared to when they were on my Macan's rims and the old 265s. I would think they would be tighter (if that makes sense) since it was a wider tire than stock. The ride is nicer. Not as harsh. Also, I have a set stock tires for sale for those interested! Additionally, does everyone's exhaust sit a little crooked like mine? Or am I being paranoid? I know there is always some flex, but it seems like a lot to me.

Unrelated question, why does everyone “block out” their license plate on photos? What’s the concern? It’s in full public view when outside right?

Oh and I call that “extra lip” buldge. I’d rather see buldge than the stock tire stretch. I think the stretch looks a little ricer-esque. Like your going for a stanced look. |

Has anyone noticed a MPG drop running the larger tires? MPG is important to my wife and I at the end of the day.
When I bumped my truck up 1 size my mpg dropped from 17 to 13 and Im still rocking a nearly factory sized tire haha |

I haven't noticed a big change & drastically reduced numbers in overall MPGs. But then again I made this nice tire upgrade pretty early on & more rubber equals more rolling resistance. Confident that if properly inflated & consistently checked, the change should be relatively minimal. Just my .02 cents.
