Error code 1F2102 on X3M after reflash to stock + DME relock.

I have had BM3 stage 1 on my X3M for a while but now I'm selling my car and wanted to restore to OEM.

After the flash was completed and I started the car I got the check engine light and drivetrain error.

I read the codes and tried to clear them but it did'nt go away. (The 021204 dissapeared). I restarted the car and the check engine light was gone, but when I read the error codes with BM3 it still showes the Error code 1F2102.

Car runs just fine and I can not notice anything wrong when I'm driving.

What can I do, Do I need to worry about it for the next owner?

Looks like the code translates to :
021204 - DME: Function enable, RPM limiter, power stage 1: Malfunction / DME: Transport mode active

Not really sure what the potential impact is, all threads/info mentioning this code ended up being dead ends/silent

I received the same code when I switched tunes. I contacted PTF and received a response of “does it drive any differently? No? Cool have a nice day”

So not sure why that code popped up but it appears other BM3 platforms have the same issue. Possibly the “stock tune” is a slight tweak of the one made for the car... who knows.

OK thanks guys. I drove a lot yesterday and it runs all fien and no check engine lights. I guess I can sell it wihtout feeling bad then

I've had that after flashing, just clear the codes and if they don't pop back up it's likely just a fluke.
