Waiting on this info too. Thx!
You can remove it before visiting the dealer if you are to concerned.

I always left mine.

Also this very safe, it's not like a tune.
Hope to see more feedbacks from the users
You can search the forum.
I have been selling RaceChip to F15/F16 X5/X6, F85/F86 X5M/X6M, and recently to F90 M5 and some G01/G02 X3/X4, G05 X5.

There are a lot of feedback about it.
I had it on mine F90 M5 and it's great increase for price and very reliable.

Can't wait for mine X6M to arrive in Spring....will install one too
Did you sold yours from the F90 M5?
Should've send it to me to get it reprogrammed.
2x free on GTS Black within 3 years of ownership.
onfireX5 is sending his in.

Race chip bolt on is lame. BM3 is better than any bolt on. Or mission performance they will have a flash tune out sooner just use your smartphone and odb dongle to flash the dme in seconds for 700+ whp.

How much does this cost and how much to upgrade assuming old unit is HW compatible? BM3 is less than $600 not sure if they offer license upgrade.

That would make me nervous. In any event, quite happy with my stock ~500hp...

Great results. I seriously considered an X3M. Almost bought one last week. Test drove it and I can honestly say it was just as if not faster than my tuned M4 cabrio which had 520 to the wheel. This little beast tuned is going to be a problem. Only thing that stopped me from pulling the trigger was getting a build slot for an RS6 Avant.

No way it's to the wheels, that would be around 670 crank. It's 611 crank.

Hmmmm...yes I'm pretty sure the manufacturer won't cover damages to your engine in your 84k car if you choose to apply after market ECU baseline changes OEM parameters.

See Dinan...do your research. The Ms have always been underrated. Dinan profited first decades.

BM3 results will be very interesting. I went from RaceChip GTS Black to BM3 on my X5M and the drive ability was significantly better and a more linear power delivery. It's a full remap instead of just changing the perceived boost pressure seen by the ECU (tmap I think).

I did about 620 to the wheels on my first dyno run on RaceChip, then could only get mid 500s each run right after on the same dyno trip. I call it the one hit wonder.

Racechip is a very good product, I just wanted something better.

S58 is real monster.

Just hope the torque converter inside the transmission can handle all that additional HP/torque

What's the price difference (+-)of a Race Chip if I buy it from a US authorized dealer instead of RaceChip

I will make a post once they are available.
A reseller like myself have room to wiggle.
While manufacturers, they won't go off the MSRP just because they are trying keep their dealers happy.
But when they do have special, we as the dealer also will honor it.

That's why the german who do the R&D. Not some company who is using their customers as a guinea pig.

With the IND dyno, they showed 491 to the wheels, which, assuming 17% drive train loss, that would be about 592 hp at the crank.

611 hp, assuming the same drive train losses, that's 507 hp to the wheels.

It'll be interesting to see if there are any before and after dynos for the racechip.
