Is aa new software update coming for X3M/X4M?

The M3 forums are going crazy for this update. My car was built in 09/2022 and delivered in December with software 07/2022.30

What is everyone else running?

The M3 folks think they are seeing faster shifting and a difference in the burbles sound and a fart on upshifts. My car is already making that upshift sound with ASD on so I think my version may have the majority of the changes and could be the latest?

I got upgraded to the 11.2022 540 update and it made shifts slightly, ever-so-slightly faster. The exhaust now defaults to sport, which means that the fake farts/pops/etc are always on, and somehow seem a bit louder.

Cant wait to code that out...

Do you mind to share how did you get this version? Is it thru Remote Software Upgrade? The latest I saw is still 07.2022.

Mine only did the 7/2022 just a few weeks back. Seems odd that it would download and install a 7/2022 if there was an 11/2022 available

I bought my X3MC used with 13k miles about 2 weeks ago and the first thing my car did was upgrade to the 07/2022.58 software that same day. Not sure what it was running prior to that because the update started while I was in the dealership and installed when I parked it at my house when I got home that day.

A friend used his OE ICOM Next and I purchased two days subscription to ISTA. Put a charger on the truck and upgraded the software that way.

Ahh okay. I've the 11/2022 update is from dealers only and it takes usually about 6 months to roll out as an OTA. Again, not first hand information, just gathered from the other forums here.
