Where are the rear BLIS modules located?

Where are the BLIS (blind spot) sensors for the rear located? Are they in the tail lights themselves?

Are these it or is this just a light element?

They're located behind the bumper covers on the side quarters

But given how complex the factory tails are, I'm doing my research before I decide to spend 600+ on chinesium stuff that may or may not work or last as long as they should.
