Good to know. I should also add my mount is still going strong for my uniden and hasn't budged since install. Totally blown away this thing cost me about 20 bucks and performs just as well as the Expensivemount.

I agree for the price you can't beat it, also Amazon has plastic ones for sale and they cost more

Nice find. I was looking at the version on AZ but this one looks cleaner.
Just ordered mine. Also they now make a version for the V1 that uses the OEM slide on piece.

Just installed mine and I will say it works as good as the BM version. I have the BM in my GT.
Only complaint is the horizontal arms could be a bit longer so the detector would sit farther forward toward the glass.
Other than that, for the $ it's a good choice.
