No, not going any lower... Think it sits just right for an SUV now

Looking good, sir!!

Also, you were totally right going with that tire sizing. My 295s in the rear look like they're stretched over the 11" wheels... smh. Should've gone with my gut instinct.

See ya around Indy

Edit: Did you install the LaminX film yourself, or take it somewhere?

Very clean build!! I always tell myself I could never own a red vehicle but they always look so damn good haha.

How are you liking the iSweep IS2000 pads? I am torn between IS1500 and 2000.

How do they compare to stock? Less dust? Better bite? Any noise on hot or cold days?

The iSweep Pads are awesome!
The IS2000s are just as described, lower dust than OE, with a stronger initial bite even in the cold, and are very linear.

No noises at all, just be sure you use a brake part lubricant when you install them and you will be 100% fine.

Thanks a ton! I'll be grabbing 2000 then instead of 1500.

Oh, and now I have track/street compound.
IS3500 - strong bite, good initial bite. Need to warm up when at cold climate. Some squeal. Same amount of dust as stock.
I think he meant IS1500 above. That said, I live in NY and it gets plenty cold. I have had zero issues with the IS1500 and appreciate the near zero dust.

I've heard a few mixed reviews with the IS1500 regarding bite. Being ceramic, a few guys have said the bite fades to less than OEM after the first 1k miles or so.

Since I am tuned well above the stock HP I think the IS2000 fits me best anyways. I can give up nearly zero dust for a little more stopping power. As long as it isn't as bad as OE dust haha

Interesting. It would be hard to judge that since it happens over a long period of time (for me as I do not drive it often).

I bedded the brakes and they are doing well and I have 5k on the car so def more than 1k miles on the brakes.

Agreed on the OEM dust - it is just insane!

The dust isn't nearly as bad as the OE Pads, and the brake feel is awesome, very happy with it.
I've got very bright wheels, and don't need to clean them nearly as often as the 965Ms with the OE Pads.

How abundant is the brake dust after about a week of driving / one gas tank?

Could you potentially upload pictures show the amount of dust about a week or so of driving?

I am having a tough time deciding between IS1500 and IS2000 for my F90. I DO NOT track my car. Only aggressive street driving and canyon runs from time to time. I live in CA so it's never freezing here, usually.

Hi,

Sorry I have my winter setup on now, and don’t have any dust photos.
Saw your post on Brocks build thread too…
If brake dust is your #1 concern and since you are in sunny CA, I’d opt for the 1500s. The 2000s do bite more aggressively than the OE Pads and dust about 60% less.

I don’t track my X4 but like a more aggressive pad.
I love the 2000s, but don’t drive that much so only clean my wheels every couple of weeks and have no real dust issues.

If in doubt, I would go for the 1500s… I think you will be very happy.

My winters are black... easier to clean
I like the brighter "theme" for summer...

This drastic difference also keeps me from getting bored and wanting to change, at least I hope it will.
