Discount: $62,660
Yes, there are better deals in Norcal. I'm in the South SF Bay area. Back in the end of May, I placed an order for a custom build of an X3 30e. In the end this was what I got:

MSRP: $58,945.00 (incl. destination)
Discount: $5445.00
Rebate: $3250.00
Selling Price $50250.00

So almost 15% off MSRP. It definitely took work to go through multiple dealers to get down to that level. It's not quite as good as some of the 20% reports but I'm happy with it. Toss in the tax credit, PG&E, BMWCCA, and the total OTD price with tax, title, etc. will end up being about $48700.

My other consideration was a Honda CR-V Hybrid (I've had a CR-V for about 13 years and it's been unbelievably good to me) and that was only about $10K cheaper, so I went with the BMW. We've got a 530e and the PHEV setup works perfectly for us. Lots of short trips around town, L2 charger at home, and we are almost driving pure electric.

This looks like a good deal. I ended up getting overall discount + rebate of 9,200.

Just got back to Seattle with it! BMW Portland was the dealer. David Padgalskas was great - handful of emails and we had a deal. All that remained was just trekking down to PDX and signing! Also took care of folding my remaining lease payments into it, for which I increased the down payment so as not to finance that.

For PNW, dealers outside of SEA and BEL are much much better and more likely to deal.

Opinions of Bellevue are almost completely negative. BMW Seattle I was fine with, but the guy I used to deal with (Michael Brown) no longer works there. They were also out of M40i...sooo... BMW Portland was awesome. The dealer who rode along on the test drive said that they had sold at least 20 cars this month to folks from Seattle. He said that when many dealers weren't accepting deliveries due to COVID, they hedged their bets and took deliveries, including some that others weren't taking - which is why they have some 2020s that aren't up in Seattle. Win for me!

Agreed, had a horrible time shopping the Seattle area. I guess the salesmen are too entitled with Amazon and Microsoft pocket books, they don't work too hard to make a deal. I was very happy with the deal I got in Eastern Washington for a custom build. If anyone in the EWA area wants a rec, PM me.

Question NJ contact?

Long time reader, first time poster here.

Just turned in my ‘17 X3 28i and have been planning for a while for my next to be a ‘20 X3 M40i. Clearly a wrench has been thrown in my plans! (Small in the grand scheme of things, I know)

Anyway, does anyone have a good contact at a NJ/PA dealer? The leasehackr brokers are fresh out, and supply seems tight otherwise too. But I’m trying still to make it happen at a reasonable price. Speaking of which, am I dreaming in targeting 12% off pre-incentive? (They told me as much at BMW Bridgewater).

Thanks in advance.

Hi All,

X1 lease is about to be due for return and I am considering the x3.

I've read that the MF right now is .00118 right now. Can anyone confirm or provide the updated rate?

Thanks!

Hi All,

New Here. But looking at X4 M40i Service Loaner with 4500 miles

Exec and Driver Assist Pkg
21" Wheels

MSRP: $68645
Sell Price: $61999
Rebate: $5500
Before Tax/Fee: $56499
0.9% APR

Lease:
36 MO/$1500 down: $963
Adj Price: $58999
Residual: $37441

Considering the lease only because I think I might want the updated interior when it makes it to the X3/X4.

Thoughts?

Wouldn't finance a demo. Go for the lease.

With a payment of $963 and your down payment, your payments would come to almost $36500. Add that to the residual and you total about $72K. Something is not adding up 🤔 ...

Sorry I left off some stuff:

Tax and Fees: $3485.12
Trade Allowance: $9500
Trade Payoff: $13000

Got some negative equity on the car. Was going to just pay it off but decided to look at trade options instead.
