I’ve been searching for Maybach Style Headrest pillows for my BMW. I have found several that I like, but they are on Amazon and you always have to be careful about not getting ripped off lol wanted to know if anyone has purchased a set that turned out to be good? I put this photo as a reference of what I looking for

I use a similar headrest cushion, tried the location in your attachment/pic, placing the cushion right on the headrest and it did not work. It forces your head too far forward and downward. The placement for my cushion is below the headrest and it gives you a place to rest the nape of the neck, it makes the seat much more comfortable.

I suggest taking a towel and folding it to the thickness/shape of your headrest and trying it in your car. Not sure what kind of human BMW had in mind to sit comfortably in those seats...they need some help to make them tolerable.

Ripped off on Amazon? That’s news to me. You can always return or worse case scenario charge back on credit card.

It's not a head "rest". It's a head restraint and designed for proper position to support the head and neck in case of a severe rear impact. When an OEM such as MB offers this, it has been crash tested (usually sled tested) to ensure it doesn't create some undesirable outcome. I would not alter the geometry of how my head/neck would travel rearward under high loads without some tested solution that BMW might offer.

Volvo used to point this out in their ads.

If you want OEM, i think the one on 7-series would fit. Price >$150 a piece, but they are pretty good IMO, just don't worth the asking price.
