How much miles are you getting on a full tank of gas ?? I have an X4M and i usually see around 310 miles to a full tank 16 gallons. I filled up recently and i saw 290 miles to a full tank.

If I fill up after mixed city and highway driving, anywhere from 290-320. If I recently did all highway or cruising, as high as 350 one time.

I'm usually 325-370, but I've gotten over 400 on a few occasions.

I'm usually in the 340-380 range right after I fill up. But depending on how I drive back home after filling up I can actually "pick up" a bit of range because of all the hills if I more or less coast down them. I want to say the trip computer says I avg 16-17MPG over whatever its lifetime of monitoring is.

I'm also usually around 340-380 miles. Although when I filled up last night I saw over 400 miles. I'm guessing it's because of some highway driving recently.

I'm in Australia and I see 550km (341.75 miles). Also get 22.6 mpg on average (22.9 mpg ex-works, 16,754kms (10,410.45 miles)). Mostly city driving and country on the weekends.

Also, I always drive in sports plus for engine!

I love Donington Gray. Do you have any aftermarket springs or spacers on your X3 MC?

How are the majority of you getting so many miles? I'm averaging about 220-250 miles driven per tank and that's with 80% highway driving. This car eats gas. After a fill up my range is usually showing 280-295 miles. I do not drive that hard since I'm usually driving with wife and kids.

that's pretty cool. wish there were ethanol-free fuel around my area. only places that have it around me are either 100+ miles away or only race gas.

that being said, is there a big cost difference per gallon between E10 93 and pure 93 around your area? I wonder how much you're saving if there is a big discrepancy.. I know there won't be a performance benefit but if pure 93 being that bit more energy dense can save in overall efficiency, that'd be sweet.

My cluster usually says about 375 when I fill up, but in reality, I only get 220-240 on a full tank to when the gas light comes on. Mostly city driving. Pumps around here have started cutting off at $75 so now I cannot even get a "full" tank when filling up from the gas light. $5.28/gal for 93 here near Austin, TX.

The added weight of your family plus gear will have some impact on your mileage -- it's only me in mine usually. I expect my mileage to improve more as I have only 2000 km (1200 miles) on my clock so far. Internet says every 100 lbs could decrease mileage up to 2% so assuming your family is adding 200 lbs that could account for about 12 miles less.

Do you have a lot of hills after the highway part? Also I think higher elevations will lower fuel consumption so maybe location is contributing to some people's better numbers.

I've seen as low as about 17 mpg with more highway driving, not as good as some people but about the same as I was getting in my 1M so I'm pretty pleased so far.

I hear ya. I come from PA and there was no place that sold non ethanol gas. I now live in SC and non ethanol gas is everywhere. Most stations have 87 or 90 but only 2-3 in my area have 93. My car sits a lot and I really don’t want to deal with the issues that can arise from using E10 for normal use.

Yes, 93 non ethanol fuel is about 1.00 per gallon more than E10 in my area. Last fill up was 2 weeks ago at 5.75 per gallon.

Full tank and sitting at the pump now. So I expect to get between about 185 and 303 miles depending on a variety of factors. Bottom line, I drive it. I enjoy it. I fill it up again.

This is about the best I've seen so far, with mostly highway mileage... just under 300 mi.
