Closer to 2 years, but yeah, we were surprised how much different the handling was with her otherwise identical build to mine, simply because of the pano that we could tell. With your stable you've probably not had much experience with the F97, and your smaller rides with micro panos already at a lower CG wouldn't probably notice much difference if you changed them out. But for taller designs, having >100 lbs of useless, never-used weight on the roof...

Love the wheels, not a fan of the new taillights or slightly elongates grilles

Might be just you. I think they’d look wicked with a MBB X3MC.

@Max Well - Was this last photo above after a fresh wash or after a fresh rain... ? Looks excellent my friend (despite me not being a huge fan of the rear section yet).

I had no idea the pano-roof weighed this much.

Back in June I shared views of the 16 (8 regular and 8 Individual) available color schemes - https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1834645 . Attaching just a few here as you can quickly scroll through them in that thread, but IMO the wheels work regardless of paint choice. Being about 4-5 lbs lighter is also a plus.

Thanks, Kevin_The_Clean1. I drove through some storms which had just moved offshore when I took that image.

Love the color and exterior changes, Max. Also, I’m coveting the larger center console screen! Congrats on the purchase.

This thread basically singlehandedly made me change the color on my upcoming 2022 X3MC order from Marina Bay Blue to Brooklyn Gray.

I live in MI, and this will be my daily driver. I love the MBB a ton, but I think it will be harder to keep clean and looking nice enduring four seasons.

The wheels, with that BG paint, are stunning.

lol .. don't say that mate I have just swapped my build from delivery in 3weeks to December just so I could change from the 765M Alloys to the 892M Alloys .... again purely based on Max Well's Thread and photos , I was damn close to changing colour from MBB to BG also. But elected to stay with MBB. My daily is a Pure Grey VW Transporter which does look similar to BG , having two grey cars , considering the very "grey" UK Sky Scape might have just been too much ... love MBB and having a "blue" back on the driveway will cheer me up somewhat

I absolutely love the MBB, but this will be a daily for me (I work from home, so don’t drive all that much, but still) and in MI, we get our share of rain/snow/road salt. I like how modern the BG is - it’s a very atypical gray.

I saw an M3 about to be delivered a couple days ago at Chapman BMW in Arizona (see Hany if you go there, great client advisor). It was BG with the Sakhir Orange interior, and it was literally jaw dropping. Seeing the BG in person…it’s a really cool color.

Pics don’t do any of these colors justice, though. You need to see them in person.

So many of the colors will go great on the LCI I think, so it does kind of come down to how much effort will go into keeping it clean. Hadn't thought about that when we ordered the BG, but after looking at some of the images I took after driving through the storms and standing water, you really can't see the road grime much at all. Wouldn't have been able to say that with my BSM, but then again, when BSM is clean it's hard to beat. Will be interested in seeing images of all colors as they start arriving for everyone.

Here's one of my pre-LCI BSM yesterday after a 350 mile drive (early start to the holiday weekend). Would've liked to have taken the LCI but round trip would've been over the 1,200 mile limit for break-in service and didn't want to take a chance.

Today we finally got a view of the metallic shine we're used to seeing on previous colors labeled as such. Here's an image with a further zoom frame for detail. Does help explain why it has such a varied appearance based not only on clouds vs sun but also time of day and sun angle.
