I have a 2020 X3M non-competition. Needed the exhaust note to be more aggressive. Decided to remove the stock resonator. It was cut out and had two straight pipes welded into place. Canadian model so I don't have the OPF.

Definitely sounds better than stock! Nice work!

I seem to prefer the sound of this though....hopefully they have something for the X3M soon.

Saw your posts in other threads, sounds great but too loud for me without the secondary cats I believe.

This is more of a quick and cheap alternative to slightly increase sound.

Tell you the truth, video doesn't do justice.
I daily my X3MC, and I don't think it is as loud as my 997.1 C4S catless with muffler.

No complaints about the sound level from my wife and kids.
The only complaint is from my wife that I can't drive nicely in X3MC, haha.

2blu - It sounds much better and gives the quieter non-comp model some much needed tone and volume boost. I'm sure it's more fun to drive and listen to now.

On a side note, that's neat that the people in Canada get a chrome window trim option. Here in CA we only have one option and that's black (which is pretty popular over here).

To be honest I wish the window trim was black! I’m probably going to get it wrapped in gloss black, I had to pick from in stock inventory and with the options I was looking for, only satin aluminum trim was available.

That's okay & I hear you on that. Good things it's easy to change & wrap that trim.
