Certainly don't care for the squashed turtle look of the X2, X4 or X6.
Couple dealers near me said that BMW forces them to keep one of each in stock. But they said the things sit for months and months before they have to practically give them away. Maybe they sell in other countries, but in the US, they are a major flop.

Not a huge fan of crossovers but this is beautiful. Very well styled and that color is excellent, especially with a red interior. BMW couldn't have put better rims on it either!

Such a bland emotionless design. How the hell is this an M car?

And the donnington grey color is even more meh than the design.

Hmmm ... not impressed. I think BMW should have made bigger design changes for X3/4 M cars, to make them stand out more from the M40 series. I think the extra power is already an overkill for the type of driving these vehicles will be used for, so at least the look should have been more prominent as a selling point. Not sure that similar looks and only .5 sec advantage would justify the price difference. If they had a manual transmission as an option in North America .. that would be a different story, at least for me.

Sometimes cars look better in person than in photos. I recently saw the X4 and this is not the case for this SAV.

Unfortunately it looks no different then the standard X4, BMW M could and should have knocked-it out of the park with this, but they went way to conservative in this Exterior Design. It should at least come with Carbon Mirror Caps for the exorbitant price they are charging.

The X4 Wheels/Rims could and should have been a way cooler design.

I have to commend the competition Mercedes and Porsche for delivering some sleek exterior and rims designs as of late. BMW has to UP their game big time in that department!

I really wanted the X4M to look like it was going to rip your nuts off in a sleek way...

Still like/love the new X4 and will eventually get.

They sell very well in Russia, Baltic states and Eastern Europe.

In the US these are a niche product. BMW sells enough of them to keep them in production. You may not like the look but some people do. X6 first came out nearly 10 years ago and the third generation of the X6 is about to come out. X4 was introduced in 2015 and just entered is second generation last year. Not my favorite vehicle by any means, but if I were forced to get one, the current X4 looks much better and less frumpy than the original X4 and the first 2 generations of the X6.

Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder!

Seems the X4M design (predictably) is polarizing. Is it better than the MB GLC63 Coupe? Close, but the X4M probably wins given it is about 10-12,000 less and with a more modern interior. I really want to like the X4M (having had M3s, an M5, and raced an M3), but being swayed more and more by the Jag F-Pace SVR.

Dear, X4 is an amusing car, very much like a racing car in the video games. I like all the features of it and wish to get it soon. I don't have enough money at the moment though so all I can do is to try to win the progressive jackpot at Karamba or Mfortune which is my favorite online casino at Canada. So far no luck!

I test drove the new X4M last week, very Laggy engine, no power under 2500 RPM, quiet comfortable BUT with a price tag here in the UK specced up reasonably £81K ............ way to much for what it is IMO.
It was quick once over 3K RPM.It was the competition model we only get that one here.

I get actual compliments and thumbs up to an alarming degree. This happens every single day and my wife just shakes her head when she's with me so at least my "Turtle, Whale, Hippo" looking car looks good....

I think maybe because no one knows what it is since it has been lowered and no longer looks like a SUV, people are just drawn to it.
