rear suspension noise

So I am hearing this squeak coming from the rear wheels/suspension. It's at low speeds, over slight bumps or grooves.

It sounds exactly like this:

anyone have this happen? what did you replace? I think it's the rear control arm bushings...

I think its the rear control arm bushings. Bringing it in on Monday for diagnostics and repair.
I requested for both sides to be replaced. Rear driver side and rear passenger side.

(99,500k miles).

it turned out to be the ball joint... got both rear left and right sides replaced.
if any one has a squeaky/creaky noise from the rear wheels, it can be the ball joints, or something else.

I hope this helps someone down the road.

Enjoy your X3's.

Dealer or Indy shop? Care to share what you paid? Think I might be experiencing this same issue on a G01 2018 X3.

Thanks

Indy shop. I paid a little over CAD$600.00 (parts, labor, taxes), dealer quoted 100$ more and said it may increase depending on how long it takes to remove the old ball joints and reinstall new ones.

I am sure I could've got it done cheaper but I bring my x3 to a BMW M specialized Indy shop here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

They mostly work on BMW M vehicles, but the shop knows me very well so they help me out with my non-M BMW x3.

I have two favourite BMW specialized shops in the GTA area.

1) RMP Motors https://maps.app.goo.gl/MA7ZETX19evdYQAp8
a little pricey but way cheaper than BMW dealerships, no complaints other than long appointment wait times, some big jobs require deposit, which is fair imo. There are several other BMW shops you can go to but this is my number 1 choice regardless of price comparison between other BMW shops.

2) BMWizard https://maps.app.goo.gl/jo17EyLHp1mh2WpR6
well read both shop reviews lol. Very well priced. A1 work. Reasonable price quotes on select BMW repairs. Some cars Matt will NOT work on, and I would remind you RMP is the same way... I'm proud to say both shops have worked on my BMW....

anyways back to working on my own car.... no weakness.
