Having a lot of heartache with this one.

We built a 2014 28i M-package last Friday, and it went into production 2 days ago.

If a production date on the 2015 is really in April. I'll want to wait for sure. Are the dealers pretty good carrying forward our deposit on something newer?

Pre-LCI I preferred the Msport looks, now I may prefer the x-line. The reduction in black plastic on the rear bumper is very welcome and the front is better too. The Msport is certainly aggressive from the front, maybe too much so. It's a decent upgrade. If only they would fit the tri-turbo diesel engine....it seems like it'll be a 35D next for me.

They probably would but I would also expect BMW to raise the cost a little.

Yea that's the only thing playing in our mind, looks like the base price came up a bit. But if it includes a proper 'base' lighting option, that saves $900 over the 2014 right off the bat.

No wonder they dropped another $500 rebate on for February on the 2014's...lol

Yeah, talked to my CA and he said he would be happy to move us into the 2015, but obviously they have no idea about the programs at this point, so its a bit of a risk.

Its a shame you have such a negative opinion on the X3, fortunately a majority of the people think otherwise

It looks great IMO

I'd stick with the 2014 M-Sport. I much prefer it to the LCI M Sport (am biased, of course).

Agree with Clivem2 - 2015 X-Line is the best looking imo.

Compared to what? It definitely looks better than "any" of the Japanese offerings, and is competitive if not ahead of its direct German competitors save the recently introduced SQ5 and Macan turbo.

Agreed. I've driven the SQ5. It's very nice and extremely fast. But it's overall handling is not as good as even the 28i with M-Sport. The X3 is more nimble and points better.

The Macan looks very nice, but it's very pricey when you start adding lots of options. And almost everything is an option.

Dan.

Mmm...

Mmm. Not sure. A bit spangly on the outside. As the driver of an F11 5 series, but OWNER of the 2013 F25 X3 we have, I was a bit perplexed by the choice of climate control on the 2011-14 F25. Why use the E90 system rather than the F10? The facelift rectifies this.

Hope they've done something about the 20d's remarkable refinement (remarkable as in it has none), if they've done that then I'm in (again).

+1

I like it on its own but now looks too similar to X4 & X5. Just like Audi we seem to be moving to sausage factory looks.

Good god!! Something is VERY wrong with that M package! The front is very weird proportioned and might be the worse M-kit to date... God!

Absolutely love the X-line though. Awesome facelift
