Element fire extinguisher - anyone use it?

Hi all, considering getting one of these for the car... just wondering if anyone here has one or has used one. I have checked a number of reviews on youtube and automotive forums and they seem pretty good, if a bit pricy. Any hands-on feedback?

Never used one and haven't really heard of it before. I have halon extinguishers in my cars, and CO2 along with Purple K in the garage.

Found this video of the E50 on youtube, seems like wind could be an issue since it's not pressurized.

But I guess if you're just shoving it under the hood or something after lighting it, it might be OK.

Luckily I've never had to use it but I keep one in the glove box just in case. As demonstrated in the video above, it requires you to be a little closer than a traditional extinguisher but the size and convenience makes it better than nothing.

Thanks for confirming it fits in the glove box>.. I was debating whether to get the seat bracket mount or just store it somewhere.

I bought these with brackets for my sons. Easy to locate at your feet for quick access for cabin fire.

Never used one either and hope I never will but it is what I keep in the car as the size and run time make it super convenient for automotive use. It does seem a little light on how fast it comes out and how much comes out but still seems to work pretty well in most videos and it also seems to leave way less mess behind.

Lack of mess was one of the things that attracted me to this product.
