I tried the Heritage rondel emblems for my 22 Marina Bay Blue X3 M. They were a bit too flashy for my taste. I tried a different set that swapped the white for black and I like them. I’m sure they won’t be to everyone’s liking but that’s OK. To each his/her own 😁

82mm for the front and rear rondels
56mm for the center cap rondels
45mm for the steering wheel rondel

They are silicon covers for the rondels. They come off as I had to reset a couple to get them perfect.

Check the description. If it says for “flat surfaces only” they won’t contour to the rondel. Tried them and they don’t stick around the edges.

I can appreciate the heritage of this emblem but I don't understand why you'd want it on a modern vehicle. Too busy for my taste.

The BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels will be released in June 2022 for retrofit on older BMW models. If you ordered a new 2022 BMW ///M or ///M-Sport car after March 22 they might come with BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels installed.

Whether the BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels will look good on your car depends on the exterior paint color and your wheel finish.

I will add these to my Estoril Blue 2015 F30 335i M-Sport, since they will look OK. If you have a white, black, light blue, and red BMW they should look nice. Any thing else, look for custom BMW roundel options from IND and elsewhere.

For my BMW Interlagos Blue E9X M3, I will see if I can get the BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels painted with a black (instead of white background). IND is working to get the BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels and they have a great paint shop. The OP showed how much better the BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels with a black background look on dark blue cars.

The BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels might not look good on the wheel center caps depending on the wheel finish (black, gunmetal, polished silver), so you need a different roundel style option vs. the hood/trunk.

There are 3rd-Party BMW Classic M roundels that are made overseas that are very nice, and are unrelated to the 50th Anniversary of ///M. Some have the tri-color ///M half circles surrounded by chrome highlights (like the standard BMW emblem). Then you have the white background replaced with black or dark blue. I saw some full roundels like this on eBay, but they were made in Russia (not stickers or applique).

The Classic ///M roundel with black background looks so nice on the steering wheel/air bag. But the BMW 50th Anniversary Classic M roundels won't have an option to retrofit to the airbag, since it is adhered to the airbag module. $$$$

I believe it’s an option for all orders after 3/22 but it won’t come without checking the option.

It's actually the other way around. Heritage is the default right now.

Yes, it is a zero cost option to select the original roundels instead of the standard (for M cars) 50th anniversary ones.
