Floor mats

Oh god, boooorring I know.

Besides Weather-Tec, do you recommend any other good (perhaps less pricey) winter floor mats that fit the 2022 X3MC very well?

Weather-Tec is nice, but when you think about front + back + cargo, it's not exactly cheap for something you use half the year. But their fit is perfect.

Any better suggestions?

OEM front and back are amazing. Recommended.

They aren't that expensive. Like $80 each pair.

The cargo OEM one sucks though.

I'd go front and back OEM, cargo weathertech.

Not sure if anyone has a recommendation of a great set that is substantially cheaper.

This combo would run you about 80+80+120 = 280

How do the OEMs actually handle slush, water and snow? Do they have decent sidewalls to protect the door sill carpet? The look very nice.

I live in Florida, so can only talk about water. They handle it fine. They go right up to the border and have a thick edge. The fit really is amazing.

The walls are uncovered though, I believe that if you want more side wall protection you could get the liners? Although from what I hear, the aren't great, as they can curl up with time.

I have the 3D Maxpider for the two front seats. Perfect fit and does a great job of containing slush since it has sidewalls.

They also don’t look “rubbery” which I really like.

I want to buy the cargo one but deciding which one still… if the 3D is good, might consider it

My wife has the Weather-Tecs in her 2022 X4 and the cargo fit is really good.

Can't beat Weather-Tecs for fit and quality. I have seen others but for fit and quality Weather-Tec you can't beat them

Another +1 for 3D Maxpider. Don't have them in my X3 yet but I've had them before. I hate weather tech bc of their slickness when wet and love oem rubber mats for their grip. These are the best blend of that. They also have a lip that isn't as high as weather tech but good enough for 90% of us.

After researching on this forum, I chose 3D Maxspider over Weathertech. I liked the design of the 3D better and like Bburg525 mentioned, too many comments about slickness when wet & it being really stiff. I considered OEM but the cargo liner is supposed to SUCK; I don't like mismatching brands...

I'm still waiting on mine but I ordered from https://www.autoanything.com/floor-m...agu-floor-mats as they currently have a promo code for 15% off (max15)

3D Maxspider doesn’t seem to have mats that fit a 2022 X3MC, at least according to their model selector. All it shows me is X2.

I placed an order for the 2021 for my 2022. They should be the same...

If you look at the Weathertech part numbers between 2021 and 2022 X3M, they are identical. I believe all the interior dimensions are the same...I at least confirmed with my SA that the 2021 windshield is the same as the 2022 windshield (purchased a sunshade)

I have the OEM mats for the footwells which fit perfectly and were not too expensive. I have a 3D Maxpider for the boot/trunk as it means I can still use the rails.

I had the OEM floor & cargo mats in my X3. They were great, but I found the cargo mat slid around on the carpet in the trunk. I added more felt to the bottom of the mat & it held in place perfectly. I've sold the X3 since then, so I do need to sell the mats. Thanks for the reminder - I'll have to post them in the marketplace.

3D Maxpider for me, I deal with the hideous 3D logo. Much more comfortable and stays cleaner than Weathertechs or any other rubber floormat. Top notch build quality.

I purchase this black leather with red diamonds stitches. The fit was spot on. Covers the floor and the sides too. Order them for front rear and cargo. $150ish.

I have found them to be very easy to vacuum compared to carpet.

I just my 3D Maxspider Kagu for the 2021 X3M in today. They fit the 2022 X3M without any issues.

How do they look in real life? They look cheap in pics.

Do you have any if your car with these on?
