These are going to sell incredibly well. This is a very thorough update, interior changes take out majority of the pre LCI cheap bits and adds many X5M interior design cues.

The main reason I hate lexus is too many curves ... looks like BMW is slowing moving towards the same curvy design ... worst design ever.

Please fire that lexus designer from BMW

X3 taillight -> HORRIBLE
X4 rear bumper with that weird gloss huge insertion -> HORRIBLE

I like the 2021 models much better.

Is Bay Blue a new color or is it a typo in the press release?

Yikes - they made the X3M look so gaudy and try hard. Those tail lights are horrible as well.

X4M actually does look improved with the LCI in the rear.

Torque improvement is nice.

Interior changes are whatever for me.

Happy to finish up my lease term of my 2020 and wait for the next gen release.

I didn't like the front bumper when I first saw it from the leaked pictures but now I find it looks quite futuristic and modern compared to pre-LCI. I can certainly live with it.

Is it really a new crankshaft? I thought the X3m already had a forged crank?

Once you get past the initial shock of BMW's design trajectory, the cars do, indeed, look futuristic.

God damn.. it's actually perfect. At first I was trying to not like it.. the grills are too square, i don't like the new lines in the headlights.. plus whats up with that front bumper.. right?

The more I look at them side by side, both the front and rear end on the LCI are CLEARLY an evolution in the design... even the thinner tail light LED strip on the X4M... the square line, vertical rear reflectors, the front end.. headlight shape, that flat area below them on the new one.. then sliding down to the taller front bumper intakes on the edges... everything just looks fresher.. give credit where due my friends, they did a masterclass on this LCI.. the whole F97/F98 platform really. God bless the product owner back in Germany that made these cars what they are.... BMW doesn't always do it like this. I think one day people will look back and say these were the last pure gas burning, earth torching hot rod SUVs.

Just saying, as a 2020 x4m owner.. i might be bitter, but respect.. good job on the new one. If it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg to swap it, I wouldn't mind the refresh in the garage.... all that said, my car is bad assss regardless and I can see it aging well in a barn for the next 30 years, long after its been replaced with a full electric as my daily driver.

Hahahah I wonder if one can use pre-lci tailights and swap it on?

With anything, it'll take time to adjust to it. So far, I'm liking the futuristic front end. Watch a few videos on YouTube and it'll slow grow on you.

Ha I wouldn't trade my 2020 straight across for this. Between the sunglasses in front with smiling lower vent (M cars never do the smile thing) and angry wide-eye lights in the back, that itty bitty bump in TQ is not worth it. The 2020 normal appearing instrument dials are great too.

Don't do that on an M... respect your pre-lci the way god made it, or part ways and upgrade... don't throw some new bits and try to play the part...

Salty people that bought ‘21 should have done their research. We all knew the LCI was coming for ‘22 so quit acting all surprised lol. Pretty much LCI for any model makes the car better. The people saying the pre-LCI looks better are just trying to justify their purchase and hide their emotions lol.
Sure bud. Looks are subjective but you do you. This LCI is hideous to someone that appreciates classic and not "look at me" styling.

I agree.. but if you like the new m3/m4, you like the LCI... screw the colours on the marketing photos... the shape and lines are more progressive on the LCI, but honestly Classic BMW evolves with every generation.. I remember people hating the E90 after the E46... and so on ever since

BMW improves their vehicles every year. BTW, do you think you could/would notice the 30 lb-ft difference between the two trucks? I bet not.

Wow - "BMW keeps improving their cars every year, time to move on to another brand that stays stagnet year after year" - help me understand that this is NOT what you are saying.

If the future is niche sales to a small group of fanbois, then yeah.
