[solved] Car Won't accelerate - Pedal Code P2138

Hi folks,

x3 , N55, 13' , 130 000km.

This morning, the car was either NOT moving, or accelerating slooowwwwly, feels like I had 5hp.

- if I start the car I can rev the engine ; no codes in cic. PEDAL give signal to engine !
- the moment I put the transmission in Drive I have the following 3 code in the cic :

1- TPMS out ( I dont have tpms, abs based tire monitoring)
2- Stability control message
3- Drivetrain issue - power limited

- then the pedal does NOTHING on the engine.
- engine idle fine

Searched on e90post, few people were asking for the problem cause, BUT NO resolved thread .

So I'm asking [Q] : what would be my best bet on that?

thanks

|P11EE BMW code possible causes

Faulty Accelerator Pedal
Accelerator Pedal harness is open or shorted
Accelerator Pedal circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Accelerator Pedal Module

scan it, erratic pedal signal, learned bmw has few revision of this pedal, bought a new one 150$, slap it, drive it.

I don't see any damage by water on my OEM pedal, but , at the end it was faulty.

According to a BMW tech, this is common in a salty nordic country.
