I have a 2013 X3 28i. Lately for all highway I'm getting 26mpg where I tend to drive 70-75mph. For an average tank around town, I get around 20mpg. I'm pretty sure mileage has tailed off a little over the past 4 or so years.

Sorry for all you petrol guzzlers, mine around town 39-41 mpg and on a motorway run around 45 -48 mpg depending on staying around 60 mph or 75-80 mph for the lower figure, the diesel is great for mpg, even thrashing it around the lowest i have had has been 38mpg.

2013 N20 seems to be about 24 average at least for my driving habits, mostly freeways and 25% city with moderate traffic.
There's always a way to get better mpg, but it's not always enjoyable! |

2017 35i @36.5K miles: Fuelly MPG data over 18 fuelups that I have tracked so far (5192 miles)
Average - 22.3 Best - 26.8 Worst - 16.4 Last - 26.5 The best and last were practically all freeway. Usually get about 18-20 on the more city driven tanks. I could see doing a 27.5 or 28 MPG tank driving 65-70MPH with EcoPro and allowing the decoupling and coasting on downhills. |
