Are the Dinan wheels any “good”? For the price they seem like a good deal. I sold the OE 21” set just did not like the look. The Dinan only come in 20” but might be better for the crappy roads in Denver. I’m going to talk to the dealer about the new comp wheels as well as I do like them
The Dinan are wider and offset is adjusted just a bit smaller
Don’t know anything about them

The OEM 21's aren't too bad to clean but I agree these should be easy (which is a big part of my decision).

Set runs about $3k. I was looking at BC Forged and VS Forged wheels but due to the custom nature, I fear about getting a replacement if I had to replace.

I've also got to figure out the center cap as I want the BMW ones. I saw a thread on another forum where they removed the center cap "sticker" and were able to fit the BMW in there.

This is for my winter wheels so I'm not rushing. Will post pics if I end up getting them.
Well I finally ended up ordering the BBS CI-R Platinum Silver wheels for my winter setup.

Unfortunately due to everything being delayed I have no idea when I'll get them. The wait begins...

I could have gotten them sooner from Tirerack but they were charging +$300 and +tax. That made them about $700 more ($3700 for the set) so I decided to go with another vendor at $3k which will be drop-shipped direct from BBS when they finally get them. Still pricy for a "flow formed" wheel but I like the style...hopefully I like them in person.

I'll post pics assuming I get them before I swap back to my OEM summers lol.

Looking forward to seeing what those BBS wheels look like.

Dinan DC3 winter setup.

Here is our 2022 X3Mc with the Dinan DC3 20" wheel package and Pirelli Scorpion winter tires. DC3's are on sale right now at Dinan for 2,834.96!!

So far they have been excellent and the grip is very good in the wet. Maybe even a little more quiet and less rough than the OE PS4S...

Nice set up. Any rubbing in the front with 265/45/20?

What size tire in the rear?

Thanks!
No rubbing at all thankfully. The rears are 285/40/20

I called tire rack to get the proper spec for these wheels on the X3M I was concerned with the circumference matching with the x-drive.

Was your previous car the wheels came off of SQ5? If so Audi and the newer BMW's have the same bolt pattern(5X112). However, the bolts sizes might be different so you will have to do some research on that. Also Audi uses ball seats and BMW conical. If Audi and BMW have the same bolt sizes, you could reuse the bolts from the Audi.

If the bolt sizes and thread are different, you would need to find ball seat(if BC forged made that way) with BMW spec length and threading.

Another factor is if the wheels will clear the front caliper. Just lift the car ad do a test fitting.

Yes, they are. I'll give it a test fit and if it works well, I'll go and get some bolts Though I quite like the 892's, the BCForged that I have should work well design wise for this LCI.

Also have a set of Signature/Bc Forged wheels but the fitment is WAY too aggressive to use on my incoming X3M.

So test fit yesterday - 21x10 et 30 clears the front calipers but hits the front strut. I'll have to try it with some spacers but unsure how much is needed. Maybe 10mm..
