Thanks for the responses. Also, does anyone know if it is ok to go over by a little , say 1300 miles ? I have an appointment with my local dealership this Thursday but also a m certified dealership on Saturday but it is a bit far and I'm at 1100 mile already.. I'm guessing any Dealership should be able to do break in service properly ?

My SA told me 100 under or over 1200 is fine.

There's nothing wrong with going slightly over the interval, the guidance my SA gave was + / - 200 miles. My dealer is m-certified, and that gives me added comfort. I would imagine the service would be handled fine either way, but if I were you, I'd make the trip.

+/- a few hundred should be fine. Mine was done at 900 because I was about to do a 1000 mile round trip and a bit early was better than way late.

Also, if it took months to get to the break-in service, maybe they found a SW update to do. Those can take all day.
