F97/98 M Performance Kidney Grill fitted

In case anyone was wondering how the M Performance Carbon Grill looks fitted on an X3/4M. See below.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, some idiot backed into my F97 while parked in a multilevel garage while serving jury duty. No note was left by the guilty party; quite simply it was a hit and run.

Luckily, PPF saved the driver side leading edge of the hood as well as the driver side of the front bumper including the piano black front panel. I was expecting having to repaint the front bumper at the least, but the car gods have been kind. Even the repair shop was expecting paint damage.

The only thing that needed replacing was the cracked driver's side kidney grill. I took the opportunity to upgrade to the M Performance Front Grill as well as the carbon fender inserts. I'll update with more pics of all parts installed once I get my car back later in the week.

Looks good.

What's involved in repairing the PPF? Can that section be repaired or replaced, or does the whole hood need to be re-done?

Resolution would be removing the existing PPF application on the hood and bumper and reapplying a new layer of PPF.

Those carbon grills look great. Now you just need to fix that PPF.

The grill looks sharp. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Parking lot accidents reveal quite a bit about the state of human kind. Thankfully, that's when the insurance company adjusters can be appreciated for what they do.

I'd like to have grill and side skirts in carbon without any logos
