Hi John. I’d say I’m getting about 22mpg. Only done 700miles though. 400 of those on the motor way doing 70-80. Still running the engine in Also. If I was commuting (which I don’t) And not running in I think it would be more like 20mpg.

I also went for Adelaide Grey...U.K. owner.

Looks so good in the flesh, hope you're enjoying your new car!!

Absolutely stunning! I don't think the interior will be difficult to maintain with a little care. Enjoy in good health mate!

White interior is easy to maintain. Warm damp micro fiber cloth wipe down every 2 weeks. Takes all of 2 mins and your interior will look brand new many years later. I wear jeans 90% of the time so I had to keep on the maintenance.

Thanks Dylan & OP. I've had mine a week now and loving it - few pics below. Keeping it under 5500 rpm is killing me. It IS a very firm ride but does not bother me & I have not naturally hit the torque issue that has been reported - it is there but in my opinion you have to artificially create the situation to notice it. The engine/transmission is awesome and so lively. I have come from an Audi RS6 and this is my first BMW (fancied a change). So far it does not seem any slower than the Audi but much more of a drivers car feeling and the level of customisation is brilliant.

I am loving the Adelaide Grey and I am glad I delayed my build slot slightly to get the M seatbelts. The Wife and the dog seem to approve of the car too ... so all is well here in SW England!

PS this forum is great - really enjoying all the info and banter on here

Great looking motor Rob and thanks for your comments on the ride and throttle response.

I have been watching the same review (the cushion on the head one) and others till I get my X3MC at the end of the month and was starting to regret my decision.

So thanks for the reassurance. I have to say I didn't notice any great issues with the ride or throttle on my test drive.

Cheers Steven

Another great looking X3M and love the Adelaide Grey seats.

I have specced the Adelaide Grey seats in mine as a change from black which I've had in my last 3 BMW and have to say it looks better in your photo than on the BMW site.

It looks more fawn on the BMW site but they look great in your car glad I went for it.

Love the combo! Mine is black on black and pick up next Saturday. Yes I have second thoughts before I ordered but was lucky to test drive one for a week. Yes ride is stiffer than most SAV/SUV etc but it’s a M Car I expect it to a harder ride than most. The performance is incredible with smooth power delivery and handling that many other rivals do not have. Yep seen the review with cushion on the head lol absolutely ridiculous considering he drives a M2C that breaks your lower back after 50 miles I know because my kid bro has one!

Very nice Rob... Some great pictures showing off the interior lights.

I've gone for Sophisto Grey and Black interior, nice to see Sophisto Grey X3M, first one I've seen.

Enjoy

I like the RS6 comment. I sold my RS7 earlier this year. Turbos failed, fixed and sold. Although I like my RS3 the deal on these things was too good to pass up. seems like performance wont be an issue

We have bought 3 cars from Williams before looking at the X3 m comp so the sales man knows us and I was really unsure about getting rid off my m2, I test drove the x3 m40 and it didn't feel special enough but a soon as I got into the X3 m comp I was sold I had to have it. Russ from Williams Bolton just said take it for a few days and see what you think off it👍👍
