There seem to be a bunch of us slotted for week 32. I thought I'd make a place where we could all hang out and commiserate over the wait and eventually post some pics!

What is everyone getting? (bonus points for including pics). Have you ordered any parts already? Anyone get an individual color? Anyone planning on PCD?

Other than the challenge of finding an M40 allocation I went fairly simple with AW, black sensatec and the 19 all seasons. After a bunch of not white cars I decided to try white again. This will be my winter car and I didn't want to have to fuss with wheel or tire changes so I'm hoping the all seasons will be good enough for Ohio snow.

I did order the black rear lettering from iND as well as the red start/stop button which I hear adds 5hp. I think I'm going to upgrade to the speakers to likely Bavsound and inquired to my dealer today if they could install them before I pick it up or if they are allowed to put non-OEM parts in the car and what it would cost so I can compare it to a local independent shop. They told me PCD would push delivery back into September and that would make 4 trips to the PC in a year so I figured I'd just head to the dealer in MD and make the 8h test drive home with it.

I plan to remove my Bavsound speakers and subs from my 2015 X4 and place then on my x3 m40i. Sadly the Amp is not compatible.

Also I am planning on removing the intercooler, boost and charge pipe, as-well as the Dinan Stage 1 and sell them all.

You're pretty happy with the Bavsound I guess? Tough to choose between that and bimmertech. Bav is a few hundred dollars cheaper And I'm thinking the sound quality will be relatively similar.

Yes I am very happy with it.

The only advantage of BimmerTech is the compatibility with G01 iDirve7, but the Amp price is $1,350 + tax. And they are forcing you to buy the speakers.

Wow, so I think the speakers are $1800 and then you have to pay another $1,300 for the amp? And bav is $1500 minus a 10 or 15% discount.

I'm excited to get the car, but it's been oddly convoluted so far, including being told by BMW that my build has "no wheels or tires" assigned to it.

The build sheet showed perf tires (which was not what I ordered), so I let them know and they removed the perf tires...but then later the genius hotline told me the dealer forgot to put any wheels back on.

I'm still trying to get it straightened out now. I'm sure it will be fine, but it's strange to hear that there are no wheels or tires on it.

Well when I was offered the allocation that was already in the system (that someone else changed to another car) they told me they needed to have my build by the 15th which is Friday. Of course We had the build to them the next day!
We were also told there wouldn't be much time if at all to make changes to our build. We did make 2 add ons over the weekend with no problems. So my guess is maybe Monday?! Although Friday would be great because it's my birthday!

I can't tell if that's alpine white or mineral white. I changed the exterior color like 4 times, so many good combinations! I kept it Mineral white because I was starting to get afraid they where going to push my order down the line if I changed it again (I was told this could happen), it's currently still set for week 31 (I'll post if anything changes on the options when it goes into production). I was debating Brooklyn Grey lately though, I have never seen one in person though but it looks great online. I'm hoping I don't have any regrets especially after all the waiting!
