Installed floating center caps. I don't think anyone else would really notice but I like that the logos on the rims are always facing up now.

Some 76 year old dude hit my 1 week old M40 at a stop light. He took his foot off the brake and BOOM. He didn't even know he hit me.

Bad damage?

I washed mine. Just got it last weekend. Used, but in mint condition.

Besides installing a red start button (added 5hp &#129315, I'll be installing black grills. Can't stand cerium...

Luckily no. The rear bumper is going to need resprayed. I could buff it out and make it look better but I have to wait till the appraiser comes out. Who knows what is damaged underneath.

I was rear ended twice and backed into on the front twice, and the positive thing was that I managed to get nice, clean bumpers every couple years. Haha

That happened in my old E90, thank goodness.

Glad your damage is minimal.

I ordered the AutoTecknic carbon fiber mirrors , Weathertech cargo cover and the Weathertech sunshade. The windows are getting done next week.
The appraiser came today to look at my rear bumper. I was told at least $1500 and 3 days. The Collision Center is booked out till February. I'm going to try to clean it up so it looks better tomorrow.

That’s the best money you can spend on your X3: an OBDLink plus BimmerCode. Programming the “remember last setting” on the AS/S is essential.

Today I detailed my dashboard. I picked up some nice detailing brushes and cleaned out the dust from all the vents, and gently cleaned the digital IP with a dampened microfiber cloth. Also used some Invisible Glass to brighten up the windows.

An enet cable and lightning adapter is far quicker than any of those wireless adapters!

I was using a pressure washer with the Griots Boss Foam Cannon and Griots Foaming Surface Wash. I also applied Griots Foaming Poly Gloss afterwards.

Finally got rid of the cerium grills today. Looks so much better, even with the cerium boomerangs and mirror caps.

They were very difficult to get off (you have to pull really hard), but I found the easiest way was to release the three tabs, get it started, then work a cloth behind the grill (between grill and active flaps) which gives you something to pull on for leverage.
