Yeah, I thought they'd be too tight, so minor modifications got them fitted.

Maybe it's the angle of the pics (kinda dark and blurry) but they look like they protrude out further than the stock tips. Can they be pushed on any further?

I didn't think najnad had replaced the tips, but rather was asking for a link.

Here are some better pictures.

I didn't realize I had to push them in another half inch! You are right it was evilchargerfan with the different tips. After going out in the garage and laying on the cold floor I can say they don't look bad!

Not bad for $20, especially if your old ones were rusty/pitted, but yeah, they don't look as dark as the pics in their ebay ad.

I went to the Alibaba web site and they have a plethora of samples, but I am hesitant to sign up for anything on that site.

I actually have signed up on ali express using 3 emails (personal email, my work email, and the wifes email) because new customers get a 1st time purchase coupon

as long as you stick to purchasing inexpensive stuff, and plan to never return the item ... its all good

so they sell that in diff sizes

as long as you choose 70mm inlet, 89mm tip ... it should fit

Copied evilchargerfan!

Not being happy with the "blackened exhaust tips" because of their lack of black, I ordered these following evilchargerfans post. I like the look! The blue goes well with the carbon black.[IMG][/IMG]

They're touching right? No space in between, maybe even not completely parallel? (Also cause OEM outside is 80mm with 8mm in between, so twice 89mm can't be parallel?

I'm looking to replace my exhaust tips as well, have the chrome ones now on my 35d, would like them to be shiny black. But have a hard time finding something that fits...
I'd like to keep some space in between, say at least 4-5mm. Which for me means I need to go from 68mm inside to about 80-82 outside I suppose.

Sure, these;

Diameter is slightly smaller than the OEM ones, those actually fit seamless over the new ones. Was an easy exchange.

How did you modify the valance to have a dual exit? Did you just trim it with a dremel? Appreciate any insights, tips and tricks on that modification.

I got some off of ebay that the measurements said it would fit, of course they don't. And they were shipped from china so there is no returning them. So I am going to try polishing my old ones.
