Yes they are great!
But when parking in a tight spot in a rush, and it's beeping all over because some wall next to the rear fender, then it has happened that it jump on the brake instead of me touching the rear wall. When reversing in (of course).

Anyone noticed that the one touch up function for the power window is disabled when the door is opened?

In addition to setting a numbered button to turn split screen off and on, you can assign split screen selections to other buttons. Using three of the seven buttons, now I can turn the view off and conveniently switch between media and position views.

Is it possible to use one of the 7 preset buttons to pause the Sirius station you are currently listing to. It takes to many steps to get to the time shift / pause feature especially if the screen is being used for the map or something else. it would be great if you could use a preset for that feature. Just curious if anyone knows if this is possible?

Create a 60min dead silent mp3, put it on the internal Hd, and assign a button to play it. Or choose similar songs from Spotify.

Interesting question. It's easy enough. But I think the time shift function is brain dead because it doesn't persist across engine starts.

One useful Sirius feature: setting a station to "Smart Favorite" (I don't remember the actual name). This will always start playback at the beginning of a song on that station.

How would that pause the sirius station!? If he just wanted to mute it all he’d need to do is press the power button!

Well, assuming swapping between sources do what it should do to Sirius, which I've never used, it might be slightly different to muting (stopping). I think I read somewhere here that this actually IS the solution to this, or similar, issues. Perhaps it was around the Bluetooth connections and auto-play the first song in the phone .. hm.. which then should be the silent one. :-)

I refer to that as the "super-turbo" button.

I found out that i don't need to put the car in park manually, I can just press the stop button and it will automatically park and put on the e-brake. I'm sure a lot of you knew this already but I never noticed this in my wife's '16 X5 either.

I'm new to a push button start and didn't know this. It may be one of the top 5 things I've learned from this thread lol

I think this feature is enabled only if you have auto-hold switched on.

And if you try and drive from a stop with the door open - it puts the car back into park and wont move

I tested it today. With auto-hold on, it will put the car in park and engage the parking brake. With auto-hold off, it will only put it in park.

There must be a speed threshold for this, since I have done this several times adjusting my car in the garage and it lets me with the door open and foot hanging out.

+1. I have had it stop and not let me proceed but I've also moved the car forward and backwards with the door open. Wasn't paying attention to the speed in either scenario though.
