Hey everyone,

I recently got my front two windows tinted and wanted to see what you all thought?

I was on the fence about getting 35% or 25%, but was urged to get 25% since the it would match the backs best. The back were measured to be 20% and the 25% tint on front brings it down to (18-19%), while if I had done 35% it would have been brought down to (25%)

Do you think the front tints are too dark or is the aesthetic worth it?? I live in Illinois so either 25% or 35% would have still been illegal:

I am unsure whether I should keep the tints or go back and have 35% put on instead ( its about 7% lighter than what I currently have)? Would this make a noticeable difference?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Looks fine. If it's not too dark for you on the inside looking out, keep it.

as big as this glass is... yes, keep it as-is...
you WILL notice a very distinctive difference VS 35%

on a silver car 35% wouldn't be bad... you would have tinted protection against heat gain and glare.... and on cloudy days would like it was tinted darker...

but with the 20% or 25% you'll appreciate it more on bright sunny days... no question.

I think it looks good, only issues with the tint is the yellow color. That's where I usually prefer 3M tint as it takes on a bit more blue color.

I live in Illinois too and went with 50% on the front driver and passenger side windows. They are a little light for my tastes (I've since adjusted to them) but staying legal outweighed getting a closer match. In IL if there is privacy glass on the rear windows of an SUV or van then 50% is the legal limit on the fronts.

The tint actually has more blue tint than the stock. Its lluminar pinnacle tint
