Thanks!

It looks like they have the top part in 4 colors (the oem x3m one is painted body color as well), but not sure if theirs is OEM color matched.

Those tips looks like it would need to be welded after cutting the OEM muffler as the pipes coming out of the muffler appears to be one piece.

Yes you’re right, looks like gloss black is one of the options! The tips appear to fit on with supplied clamps.

Hello, I already received the diffuser today, I know very well, the truth is that I was surprised, the sensors I see are somewhat rare, they are fine, the ones that you have are like these, when putting the sensors it will be flush?

Has anyone tried the non-drilling spoiler or rear diffuser? To be honest, it worries me that these do not bolt and are held by adhesive tape. Has anyone found a way to bolt them or identified similar products that do bolt? I am mainly interested in these as the paint color matches the phytonic blue.

Thanks! Are there defined holes for them to go into or just create your own?

I needed to drill holes in my Maxton splitter. No need to drill holes in the bumper though, those screws will go straight into the plastic.

Seems like nobody interested in an X3M style rear spoiler? I contacted some sales on Aliexpress and Alibaba, they gave reasonable price for the item, but shipping cost around $200, that's quite a lot increasing since before this pandemic they almost offer free shipping.

thats because they used to be able to use commercial airlines to ship freight, with all those flights now limited most have to wait for a proper freight flight with DHL or Fedex, that will be why.

It's really easy. Just use a trim removal tool to start popping it out. Start at one of the corners and work your way around.

Wow this looks awesome! Nice work...do you have a link to purchase this exact one in gloss black? Are you still happy with the fitment?

Considering either doing my OEM diffuser gloss black, which of course fits perfect...

Or go for this...which looks amazing...but hoping it fits well too.

Hi everyone, not sure if this thread is still alive but this thread is the reason I joined. The back and forth over that last 30 pages was awesome.

This is my first post and I want to thank you guys one helping me finally deciding to pull the trigger on a diffuser and possibly a spoiler soon. Just put in an offer with a seller on eBay for a gloss black X3M style diffuser for $180. Says shipping is only 1 to 2 weeks. Will also be adding twin exhaust tips eventually, like that look a lot.

Hi, it's been a while but did your diffuser came with PDC holes or did you have to make them? I have asked the seller and they said that this diffuser does not come with PDC sensor holes??? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283835080825

I believe that is only one part of what needs to be replaced when going from X3m to the M40i. There is the upper and lower that need to be swapped. The upper part of the diffuser has the PDC if I recall correctly.

where did you relocate the wiring to? do you have any steps for this. i have the trailer hitch mount but dont plan to tow. use it for bike racks now. i've been wanting a new diffuser but the hitch makes it tough. you did a very clean job and if you can provide more insight that would be great.
