IND F97 X3M Mirror Retrofit for G01 X3
Placing order to have these painted by IND, probably elect their 9H option.
Wasn't sure what the local paint shop would charge, would assume minimum $100. First purchase from IND, haven't bought from them before. IND paint is top notch. Painted reflectors are flawless. To give more perspective they sand down the reflector first because the DOT lettering is raised. That's some attention to detail if you ask me.
I can assure you their paint option, although pricey, will be perfection. Personally me having to think about having someone paint something is so troublesome. Trying to find a great painter that won't just spray it outside and find dust and specs in the paint.... |

Looking through the TIS on replacing the "supporting rings", item # 3's, doesn't look too scary...

Side mirror cap
I recently found out the part# to retrofit my mirrors to M style and after painting I'll still be spending less than IND sets. I was curious about the quality of the Amazon caps and was totally disappointed on the quality, their very thin and flimsy.
