Interesting. So, BMW seems to be using at least two, Pirelli & Bridgestone. I wonder what drives them to use one vs the other?

They don't like to rely on only 1 tire make for almost every wheel/tire type/vehicle option combination unless it is a specialty option package or specialty vehicle.... so if a tire factory suffers catastrophic damage and has to shut down bmws production line can keep going.

Mostly random chance which tire you get of the 2 (sometimes 3) that can come with your package they don't publish the % which they source each make at

Mine came with the Bridgestone Dueller, as well. I'm not sure which is technically the better tire.
