The prototype should be done soon. As mentioned, its one of the more challenging intakes to build.

Yes after seeing the intake in detail thanks to r33_RGSport it's obvious the intake will be a pain in the ass to make.

The intake seems like a potential bottleneck, unclear why they choose to do it that way, suppose space constraints.

Do need exhaust or mid pipe options!! Dinan is rolling on exhaust and midpipe but they are behind because their car got into an accident and they are still waiting for parts 2 months later. AWE is on deck in R&D but haven’t found anything on AA’s midpipe.

AA would be the only one that's priced reasonably. No way I'm paying4K for an exhaust lmao.

AA’s exhaust is speedy too, their midpipe though is quite reasonable and I like the merged design they did with the s55.

All full s55 exhaust will cost big money not all are 4-5k or more but even the lowest ones are 3k or 2k for an axle back.

Exactly! And I purchased the midnpipe for like 750. The 4" single was great. It sounded just like a full exhaust without the rasp that the s55 was notorious for in my opinion. It gave off great power too for just a mid. I did some dyno pulls, with DP/Mis pipe/ max PSI Intakes i gained a ton of power. I wish MAX PSI made intakes for this vehicle- nothing like grill mounted intakes to really wake those turbos up.

I ordered the black competition front grills ($154), side vents ($98) & rear emblem ($31) from BMWpartspros.com for about $283 including shipping. Took about 3 weeks.

Anyone have any tips to replace the side vents? The grills were fairly straight forward and managed to remove them without breaking any tabs!

Same thing, just some double sided tape by the straight edges, then pull away.
