2024 x3m comp ceramic warranty scam?
msrp - $84245
discount - ($6800) ceramic coating 7 year warranty - $995 I received this sales sheet from Crevier BMW down by Santa Ana CA. This a decent deal or not? I'm almost ready to confirm but that 7 year warranty on ceramic coating seems shady. Dealership claims it cannot be written off but gut feeling tells me ceramic coating warranty is not $995 worth it. Any thoughts? |

It's the semi-autonomous mode, if you will. Adds the radar (or lidar?) so it can maintain distance when using cruise control and will keep you in your lane. Not sure if it's hands free, as I haven't even really had the chance to use mine. It's kind of a hassle to activate and it kept squawking at me to keep my hands on the wheel.
I dunno, some people love it. Depends on what style of driver you are and what the majority of your driving is. Also if you love new tech, you might be more interested. I could go without it, but that's just me. You should be able to do the build on the BMW site and it will tell you what that package does. |

I commute to work on a highway, I press a button, it drives I just keep a finger on the steering wheel. It will also do stop and go traffic as well. If you are on a highway and doing under 40 its full hands off self driving. Its been a life saver for my commute as I dont have to worry about anything since its doing all the work. Driving to Florida it did 90% of the work, it was great. |

Might be worth it for resale, as even cheap toyotas have lane keep asisst. Its becoming a standard (or super common) feature in the industry.
