Is the X3M engine sitting higher in the engine bay? Because if not then the strut bar will not clear out engine cover since the X3M has an indent in the cover.
X3M engine is significantly higher, see above pictures.

I think it's just the airbox on the M is higher.

I doubt it's worth the effort unless it's a cheap and easy direct bolt on. I know it works well in Japanese/Korean cars with a less rigid body structure (that's why aftermarket strut bars are always readily available), but you probably won't feel a big improvement in the x3. You see that we already have bars that forms a hexagon around the engine bay, adding one more probably won't be THAT significant. Just IMO anyways. But then again if there is a cheap aftermarket add on, why not? LOL.

LOL. Not really. It's way easier to know if the bulb turns off when you close the fridge door.

Yes the air box/intake manifold. The block and head on the S58 is the same as the B58.

Aha, so it has a mount which attaches to the 3 strut top mount bolts!

Wtf is that cable attached to the top of the damper though?

Strange they come out the top, my EDC dampers have the cable coming out of the side, same as my F30 ones did.

Yeah some cars are different. Some are on the side of the strut and some are on the top right there. Just a different location.

This is completely unnecessary.

Unless you're on Hoosiers on track with solid bushings competing for time of course.
