Yep, that's also how the M340i got a super low 3.8 to 60 despite RWD.

I understand that part, but still? I also know that BMW numbers are 99% of the time conservative, but it's a 0.7 sec difference we are talking about. I mean I am considering one as well now lol. Before I thought the M40 is not much slower (4.4 vs 4.0).

Super aggressive launch control I imagine?

Mine went a 3.38 and a 3.34 with roll out. So C&D is legit considering 0.20 redux with rollout.

I looked up how many threads there were about it on Bimmerpost and I believe less than 10 lol. It's by far the most aggressive, best sounding and best driving SUV I've ever driven. So much so...I'm looking at them right now and trying to convince my wife it's worth the cost of admission.

With all the new releases BMW has coming out...90% of them having me feeling underwhelmed and after a solid 10 years with the brand - I'm disappointed. The new X3M/X4M range is "cool" at best...but for $80k+ I'd be shopping elsewhere in a heartbeat.
I am thinking you have never driven or heard a GLC 63S...

The Stelvio is a nice SAV and about as fast as the 63S in 0-60 and falls a little behind in the 1/4. The GLC also took aways it record at nurburgring. My concern is the unreliability of all Alfa Romeos.

The X3/X4 MC is either close or on top of both of these cars, we just don't know yet. If it didn't look like every other X3, I would have gotten one even though I am a diehard AMG guy.

Personal preferences should control buying decisions. The Stelvio may be "by far the . . . best sounding" SUV YOU have driven, but it doesn't touch the Jag SVR or GLC63. Many reviewers have commented that the Stelvio's sound is opened only when put in race mode.

I considered the Alfa, but decided against it because of far inferior interior parts, infotainment system, and lack of the full exhaust sound in normal operating mode. Plus I don't have a dealer within 100 miles. Again, to each his own.

It's only $250k for a Urus.

I'd drive one for a weekend but otherwise it's just stupid unless you've got endless amounts of cash to spend.

What issues did you have with the F90. I added a RaceChip to mine and the only issue I had was it is F A S T.

10.8 at 130mph at 3500ft DA.

I like those issues issues !
Engines knocking due to simple stage 1 tuning, JB4 and race chip making sensors go bad. From what I've read around the F90 forums some of the cars are very sensitive to mods.. simple as a intake, exhaust mod making the car run a little wonky.

But back on topic...

I am surprised at the leasing deals I haven't seen more on the road. Within 100 miles of me(San Diego) there are 300 on lots available...

I owned an F90 and I installed a RaceChip with zero issues. Actually have owned 3 different RaceChip’s. Over 40,000 miles logging. Over 3 different BMW platforms. Zero issues.

Hopefully the RaceChip for my X3MC will be here in the next 2 weeks.

Very niche car and even though it's a rocket, reviewers comment on its edginess, uncomfort for daily and long runs and need to get it high revved from standstill. Also the non DCT is a set back imho.
Lastly tire options suck and you need an instant investment in winters in 50 Percent of the country
Doesn't take away that it has a certain utility of a sports car. You can jump into M40 with a level one step down of less excitement but still fun and more compliant on the road.

Just curious if you have you driven an X3MC for a 2-3 day period ?

I used an M40 for 3 days trying to decide on a purchase.

I’ve put over 4000 miles on the X3MC. Two trips with 4 days of driving over 400 miles per day.

M40 is very nice. No complaints here. Could rock one.

Stock to stock, X3MC is a totally different experience. I can/have gotten out of my Turbo S and into the C back to back and don’t feel “let down”.

It just comes down to the experience that you want.

Great to have all these options !

I'm not bad mouthing the company at all so calm down fanboy lol.

I've read on platforms over a years time a spark happens between sensors and burns it out. Bmw, Mercedes and Audi in this case. No sensor for feedback = limp mode. Normally it's the manifold pressure too high.

I had fallen across a F90 that wasn't reacting well to the race chip, I've read F90s not reacting well to the JB4 (in more instances) and I've read of dme knocking 3 motors.

So get on that little search bar we call google
