Noise when locking/unlocking

Hi,

My 2019 m40i seems to make a lot of noises when locking / unlocking the car. It sounds like things are opening / closing (electric motor + gear like sounds). It sounds like it's supposed to do that but I'm not sure what the heck the cars doing. Anyone have any idea what goes on when you lock/unlock the car?

I think it’s dropping food into the cage where the hamster is kept. The one that runs in the wheel to make the engine go.

Garage List
When you unlock or lock the car it powers up the car and to use certain functions without having to start the vehicle. Same happens when you open the door, the vehicle powers up.
