So, what solution gets rid of the anti-glare compound then? I don't want to damage the screen, but I assume it is best to remove the anti-glare compound gently instead of scrubbing it away?

Use a polish, I used meguiars plastix, folded up microfiber and a q tip for the edges. take the screen out of the car first.

I found the best way to keep the screen in excellent condition is to use 303 cockpit spray on it. I've done so with both my 135i & X3 Nav screen, however you must wipe off of excess with a good quality microfibre cloth.

Anti glare screen protector works to cover scratches. I purchased a screen cover for a tablet and trimmed it to dimentions of nav screen. After applying, looks as good as new. |
