I have an active Connected Services package that includes Active RTTI. All online services include automatic map updates, weather, etc. seem to be working fine but the traffic only shows on few roads. It shows traffic only on a very few highways but nothing on other major and other streets. I’m wondering if this can be fixed with coding. Previously activated full screen Apple Care Play through 3rd party. Didn’t get much help from Connected Drive Support. Did troubleshooting steps and signal resend, nothing worked.

shawnsheridan your name keeps on coming up for the master solver of enhanced bluetooth queries so here goes -

Just got an X1 e84.
Has combox in boot.
BMW advise me after giving them the VIN the current setup is 6nh.
What is the easiest method to getting music streamed through bluetooth?
If album art could be displayed that would be a bonus.
If it helps I have idrive and an SOS button on the roof.
I have (hopefully) attached a picture of the NAV Settings screen.
Please help! 🙏

If it has now 6NH, I would try changing to 6NS and VO Coding CMB_MEDIA and HU_CIC-MID.

I can't advise in detail, as I don't do any E-Series work. You would need to use NCS Expert and SP-Daten and a K+DCAN Cable is all I can tell you.

Hi Shawn,
I have iX3 (2022) and it was bought in Serbia. There is no currently CD services in Serbia. I have added car to my bmw app by German customer service but no connectivity in the car so app does not function. If I press SOS in the car, I have full connectivity for 1 hour and everything function as it should. It looks like I need to do some programming in my car. Would you be so kind to assist me? I'm getting LAN ENET cable tomorrow. Thanks in advance!

One quick question. If I add 6AC, 6AK and 6AE to FA file, can I just proceed with ECU - HU and ATM code and to do not write new FA file to the vehicle?

You can modify FA and load in Coding module and VO Code with it. There is no requirement to write FA to car.

Trying to code in anti dazzle on my x5. Could I ask for the latest launcher files for FA coding?

In addition to that, there's someone who's figured out how to remove the exhaust burble neutering that was enforced in past few years only using coding. any ideas where to look for something like that?

I've run into a problem. Hoping you could help me out.
I had coded 'showing turn signals in HUD' and the LIM function on my F25 a while back. They were working fine.

A few days ago I VO coded the car (replaced 8KM with 8KP) and coded the DME and KOMBI. Now the LIM function info doesn't show up in the instrument cluster - even though the actual function works. The turn signal doesnt show in the HUD either, which I care less about. I’ve tried many things including the below to no avail.

KOMBI 3003 SLD_ENABLE aktiv
ICM 3000 C_SLD_Funktion aktiv
ICM 3000 C_Umschaltung_ACC_DCC zugelassen

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

8KM with 8KP are Oil Change Intervals. I have no idea why LIM / HUD Turn Signals would be impacted.

Newbie here with a 2013 X3 that I’m wanting to do some coding on…. Activate remote windows, Sport+, remove drive disclaimer etc.

I’ve read through the original posts and I’m confident on the cable that I’ll need (Ethernet), question I have is has anyone used a Mac to do coding with these cables? I only have a MacBook Pro with parallels installed so I have full windows functionality and I don’t have any issues with connecting to kit I use for work on the VM over USB, but I’ve never had to use Ethernet so I’m wondering if anyone has had any luck in the past?

Also, if there is an updated or recent idiots guide someone could send me that would be awesome thanks :-)

You can't use a VM. You need BootCamp or a Windows PC.

Swapped out a fried HK amp in my 2019 M2C (F87) and need to code the new amp. I need all of the coding software such as E-Sys and the PSdZ/PSdZData. I'm also looking for a link for ISTA+ for something else I want to mess around with. Would you be able to help me out? I don't have any of the files require to be up and running for F-Series, my only experience is with some BimmerCode but the amp stuff doesn't seem to be supported there. I've seen you're the guy to talk to!
